Long story short, we went for a coffee stop to the nearest coffeeshop there, which happened to be one of my favourite place too, Kopi Ireng. then we filled our famished bellies with the nearest angkringan, and continued our night to Punclut. (pingkan stefan reza tepen vincent devin jasmine bonit and me)

May 29th was the last day of our exam week. Most of my friends went back to Jakarta straight away. homesick, they called it so. On the contrary, some will be staying in Bandung with no plan of going back to Jakarta. And then there's me; who's going to stay a few days in Bandung to just chillax here, in the cozy atmosphere of Bandung; a city that i've grown to be fond of.

In the exact same day, we went to Rumah Bumi Langit because i was really curious about it. It's not like other ordinary cafes, with their slogan 'menu makanannya seadanya, bayarnya seikhlasnya'. Aaaaaaaand unfortunately when we got there it was closed so yeah it's quite dissapointing but i could just go back there another time, hopefully:------)

By 3 am, only the three of us were left because we decided to see the sunrise. At 5 we went off to Dago dreampark? or dago something-i-forgot. I could already feel the giddiness inside me by seeing the scenery on my left side on our way there; a line of mountains and twinkling citylights.

We stopped on an empty field of grass and parked our motorcycles. The twinkling citylights of Bandung was sprawled beneath us. The three of us just stand there, admiring the view in comfortable silence, occassionally making light conversations.

It was indeed breathtaking. The mountains revealed themselves from the night. The morning fog below the mountains seemed to create a horizon line, a divider between the mountains and the city of Bandung. I watched in awe, as the sky turned from dark to a dazzling blue with hints of pink.  I can spend all day staring at the beauty of mother nature.

we stayed there for about an hour, waiting to see the orange sun looms over the horizon. but it seemed like she decided to hide behind the mountains. so we decided to end our journey today. it's been one hell of a looooong night, obviously a well spent one. Glad that i hv such spontaneous friends that loves to explore Bandung, even untill the dawn.

will definitely come back here soon, and bring moooooooooore friends to enjoy the sunrise together:)

This got me wondering as to why we, humans have made such a mess of things. I wonder how we can tear up the seas and use up the trees for our own ego. It is such a tragedy that we are damaging things so fast and they will soon be way beyond repair. It is very sad to think future generations will not have the natural things to enjoy as we have had, and that they will be paupers when it comes to the offerings of the natural world.
