It was the first day of year twelve, and we’re just casually chatting about things on the back of the class. And out of nowhere the talk seemed to shift to what we’d do after we graduated, which will be less than a year.

Rasti talked about how she’s going to attend BTA in order to prepare herself for her applications to FK UI.. Naomi, talked about how she would take this test and that test to apply to HKU, HKUST, NTU and NUS. So did Tiffany. She had planned it hard for her priority uni and the back upplan IN CASE she didn’t got HKUST-business. Devina on the other side, talked about how her agent helped her to apply to MEL-U to start college.

Finally, there’s me. A girl on her last year of high school and hadn't even figure out what she wanna be in the future. It was gray for me. Actually, i had been dreaming since i was 10 to be an architect that helps people build their shelters. But i realized at high school that it was not that easy and i hated physics lesson which was needed to be an architect. After a while, I was thinking about being an interior designer and have clients coming to my house to ask for designs. On the other opposite, it also crossed my mind to be a marine biologist so i could go diving anytime i want for ‘research’ while having fun with sharks, dolphins and other sea creatures. The best thing about that job is that i could always be near the ocean, the place i’m totally fond of, my little nirvana.

Finally, after i got home i started to think. I considered going to ITB and major Interior Design. Yes, that’s what i want. So i started to ask my senior who went there and she told me to go to Villa Merah. It's an art institute for students that’re interested to apply for FSRD ITB. There, i learned how to draw lines, realistic objects, and the hardest one was to draw human with the right proportion. It was a struggle for me to draw humans, i kinda hate to draw that thing. In my drawing, the arms were always too long, the head was too big to be the right proportion. The thing was, if you apply to FSRD ITB they would ask you to draw a place with people in it. Not only one, but many. And what should i do if i couldn’t draw it right? Yes, i didn't attend Villa Merah for 2 months after that, and i didn't want to go to ITB anymore. i really didn't know what to do after i graduate high school

And... Unpar started to open registration. Pingkan was the one who got very excited because she really want to study architecture there. Me and some other friends were just trying our luck. Ironically, from 10 Saint Ursula students who apply to architecture division, only 1 got the chance to study there. We then tried the next test on January 24th. Me and Thania just laugh along after we finished the test. Yes, it was that bad. We were asked to draw a cube that was divided horizontally and moved a few cm and then divided again diagonally and then moved again and then divided again and yeah. it was confusing and we didn't finished our drawing. And the test also asked us to draw the situation outside a school with people selling stuffs in their 'gerobak' and the stupid things was i draw gerobaks with only one tire! Thania on the other side drew the gerobaks with 4 big tires, like a car.

And one other dumb thing i did was.... i didn't read the instructions before i began doing the math test. I could only do 15/40 numbers and the rest, i just circled the options according to my feelings. Turned out, if you answer wrong your score will be minus by 1. If you don't answer, your score will not be added but will also not be minused.

So the minute i went out the test room, immediately i ask my friends when will the second test be held. They also couldn't do the test well and they, too, surrender. like me. So we' had decided to try again on the second test even when we hadn't know the results yet. yeah, wish me luck.
